What is Life Coaching?

 The Merriam-Webster Dictionary (2020) definition is: an advisor who helps people make decisions, set and reach goals, or deal with problems.

Life coaching is an form of in-depth talk therapy used to empower people. Life coaching use various techniques to tackle challenges, set and meet goals, and encourage self growth within others. 


Coaching uses both positive and negative experiences to promote self growth. It is not just a negative-focused service. We will celebrate accomplishments and use the hard challenges as a mean of motivation.  


My Coaching services are offered 24/7 days a year, as I provide support to clients during all year round, any time of the day. Good or bad, I will be there.  

What is the difference Between Coaching, Mentoring, and Therapy?

 Coaching 

Coaching is a listening and responding technique based on using the client's experiences and performance to improve behaviours, skills and their mindset.  Coaching provides techniques, activities and tools to change habits and achieve goals. Coaches are motivators! Coaches and mentors do not diagnose mental conditions, provide medical advice or provide prescriptions.

Coaches may or may not be certified, as the Coaching industry does not yet regulate operating standards.

Mentoring

Mentoring is a service used to provide guidance and support. The mentee/protégé will be in charge of the sessions, as the mentor will provide guidance and advice. Mentors are role models and offer support to the protégé. The protégé leads the session, and the mentor is the listener.

Therapy

Therapy focuses on the "inner" you. Therapy is based on the conscious and subconscious mental and behavioural processes. Therapy can be used for diagnosis of mental conditions, such as anxiety or depression. Therapy sessions are hosted by Therapists, Psychologists, or Counsellors (medical professionals), have varying Master's and Doctorate degrees and are licensed within their applicable medical profession.

How is your Coaching Service Offered? What about Meditation?

 There are many options in how I provide my 4-Week Activator service.

  • One-on-one phone call 
  • Online video-conferencing (Skype, Zoom or Facebook Videochat)
  • In person at my home office location
  • In person at a mutual location
  • Text messaging and Facebook messaging (24/7) 

​

Coaching clients will have weekly one-on-one meetings with the coach to help motivate you through the coaching experience. 

​

Due to COVID-19, all classes and services will be offered online on Zoom or over the phone. In-person location will be determined at a later date.

For 1-on-1 or private meditation services, please contact me so arrangements can be made.
